I grew up in New York, playing lots of stickball, skelly, and Ring-a-leave-e-o. How that led to eventually majoring in Film and Video Production, I have no idea. Though I will say it taught me a lot about composure, teamwork, and perseverance. I had worked as a Tape Operator and Assistant Editor in New York for companies such as Good Times Pictures, Post Perfect, and EdEfx before deciding to move out to California.
I was first drawn to San Francisco after regularly visiting a friend who resided here and in 1995 packed everything into a truck and started the cross-country trek to the city by the Bay. Along the journey, the truck crashed, my belongs were flung to the wind, and we arrived with some luggage and, as they say, the clothes on our backs.
My first job in SF was for the San Francisco Production Group. That is where my love with the mac and motion graphics started. "Hey, what's this thing called After Effects, by Cosa?" and "Apple is coming out with something called Final what?". That is also where I met First Person's eventual CEO, Drew Fiero. I joined Drew at Elastic Creative in 2000, becoming one of the company's first six employees. Since then I have a had the pleasure of wearing many hats on several productions for such clients as Applied Materials, Nike, Yahoo, Visa, Dolby, Aruba, UOPX, and Google.
As a Creative Director I try to leverage my ability to combine creativity, management, teamwork, and social approachability to my work. When not working, I enjoy playing softball, drums, watching sports, and traveling with the family.
